Referral Request Reminders for TRICARE Providers

When submitting requests for subsequent care, ensure the originally approved diagnosis is listed as the primary diagnosis, the requesting provider matches the authorized referral, and an approved PCM referral is in place using the same diagnosis and specialty. Following these steps helps your request process without delay.

Notice on TRICARE Claims Payments

Some claims are being processed incorrectly as non-network, leading to incorrect payments. Watch for updated Remittance Advice and Explanation of Benefits.
If the recalculated claim results in an overpayment of cost shares by the beneficiary, providers should refund the beneficiary promptly.
